Our mission

Starting Point for Change exists to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), autism, and acquired brain injuries. We are guided by a simple but powerful philosophy: no one should be excluded from meaningful participation in their community.

Every program we offer, from day habilitation for individuals with complex behavioral, medical, communication, and mobility needs, to community-based day supports and employment services, is designed to help each person live with independence, purpose, and connection. We work hand in hand with families, caregivers, and state coordinators to ensure that care is safe, respectful, and built around the individual.

What guides our care

Guided by dignity

We meet each person where they are and build supports around their goals, preferences, and strengths.

Rooted in community

Real inclusion happens in the community. We create pathways to relationships, work, and belonging.

Grounded in safety

Experienced clinical and direct-support staff deliver care that families and coordinators can trust.
